What can I find at an estate sale?

You can find almost anything! Estate sales typically include furniture, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, tools, kitchenware, clothing, books, and artwork. It’s a great place to find unique items and everyday necessities.

Items are generally priced based on fair market value and condition by the liquidator or company running the sale. Prices are often firm on the first day but may be discounted on the second or final day.

Check the sale photos and listing beforehand for items you’re interested in. Arrive early for the best selection, bring cash (though most sales accept cards), and bring your own bags or boxes to carry purchases.

Most estate sale companies accept cash and major credit cards. However, bringing some cash is always a good idea, especially for small purchases or sales that might have a minimum for credit card use.
